Welcome to Cast Iron Winery, your go-to winery for a unique wine experience in Sealy, Texas. Our winery was founded by two wine enthusiasts in November 2017 with a mission to bring the spirit of Texas to our town. At Cast Iron Winery, we are passionate about offering our guests an unforgettable wine experience that captures the essence of the Lone Star State.
One of the unique features of our winery is our fantastic selection of wines. We are renowned for our bold and diverse red wines, but we also offer a variety of whites, rose, and sweet wines to cater to every taste. Our wines are crafted with the utmost care and bursting with flavor, making them the perfect choice for any occasion.
At Cast Iron Winery, we've created a beautiful outdoor space for our guests to enjoy. Our patio is designed to provide a charming and hospitable ambiance that's perfect for relaxing and unwinding. You can take in the natural beauty of the Texas countryside while indulging in a game of Giant Jenga and sipping on your favorite glass of Cast Iron Wine. The patio offers a serene environment, where you can enjoy the stunning views of our newly growing vineyard, which features a brand-new varietal created by UC Davis that grows well in the Gulf Coast region.

New Texas Vineyard
At Cast Iron Winery, we are always striving to improve our wine offerings, and this year we are proud to announce the planting of our first vines of a newly patented grape variety called Camminare Noir. This innovative grapevine is Pierces Disease Resistant and specifically designed to thrive in the Gulf Coast region, making it an ideal choice for our winery.
Camminare Noir is a unique blend of 50% Petite Sirah and 25% Cab Sauv, resulting in a rich, bold, and full-bodied wine. This grape variety was developed by the USDA and has been widely recognized for its ability to resist diseases that commonly affect grapevines in the southern United States.

The planting of our Camminare Noir vines marks a significant step forward for our winery, and we are thrilled to be one of the few wineries in Texas to feature this new varietal. We are confident that our guests will love the bold flavors and unique characteristics of this wine, and we can't wait to share it with our community.
